As we navigated along the gravel road toward the point at Matapalo, the strangler vines that will literally consume trees are everywhere along the roadside
and the oldest ones redeone the property lines and serve as immovable fence posts.
We were now about 5 kilometers into our drive when we once again had a rare sighting. It was a large Anteater that was positioned fairly high in a tree about
50 meters from the road. As I climbed over a fence for an ideal position, it nashed a perfect pose for me and I managed to get the entire animal into the frame.
